Every week, make your picks by selecting the winners for each game. A selection for every game is required.
The King of the Hill Football Contest uses the game's Point Spread to determine which teams win. For a description of Point Spread, see below.
Definition: Used to even the odds of a particular sporting event. Each team has points either added to its score, or subtracted from its score, to determine if the bet is a winner.
Example: Suppose the point spread is set at 7 for the Patriots vs. Eagles in the Super Bowl, and the Patriots are favored so they will be listed with a -7. The Eagles will be listed with a +7. If you bet on the Patriots, then you do not win this bet since after deducting 7 points from the Patriots final score, it would appear that the Eagles won. If the Patriots won by more than 7 points, then you would win his bet.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants who select the most winners each week. In the event of a tie, prizes will be split. You must have an active account to be able to win a prize.
This is an internet contest and all registrations and entries must be submitted via this website and using the correct form at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the First Game of each week.
Only one entry per person or household is allowed, so make sure of your choices before sending in your picks. Additional entries by the same individual will not be valid and will be ignored for the contest.
